Audiorent.co.uk PA hire and AV hire company recently provided sound reinforcement and engineering support for Nottingham band Polymath. Polymath were performing to a large audience at Nottingham’s Art Theatre, an evening which encompassed many different art forms including contemporary dance, video and animations. We supplied a sizable PA hire system perfect for the event and venue. Four of JBL’s new PRX powered 18” sub bass speakers along with four of JBL’s PRX 525, twin 15” powered speakers which were used to provide midrange and high end frequencies. The system provided was suitable for audiences between 300-500 depending on venue. We also provided seven drum kit microphones, two vocal microphones and three DI boxes, and a 30m mulitcore, all allowing the reinforcement of the bass guitar, lead guitar, two keyboards and cello. We also provided a two way monitor mix with four stage monitors. Along with the equipment we provided full engineering support, arriving early to load in and set up the equipment. Then providing full sound checks for Polymath and the support bands. We engineered the whole event and broke down and loaded out the equipment at the end of the event. The evening was a complete success thanks to the pa rental systems and support offered by Audiorent and our staff.
