We recently provided conference AV equipment hire to the Turbine conference centre in the Triangle Business Park, Worksop. The meeting, for around 100 delegates needed speech reinforcment and sound playing from a laptop. We provided a compact but powerful PA system hire comprising of two 12" stand mounted speakers and a powered mixer (an amplifier and mixing desk in one unit). We provided a hand held radio microphone and a clip on lapel microphone for speeches along with a HD400 laptop interface unit (this unit allows connection of a laptop to the system while reducing the ground hum created by some laptops). Audiorent.co.uk provided hire a PA system for the funeral service of Lady Anne Bentinck of the Welbeck Estate. The funeral which took place at the Newton Cuckney church was attended by approximately 350 mourners wishing to pay tribute to Lady Anne Bentinck. Due to the large numbers expected a marquee was errected in the church yard and seating provided in the nearby village hall. Audiorent.co.uk provided sound systems to transmit the service around the church, to the marquee and village hall allowing all the mourners the opportunity to hear the service. Eight speakers were provided in all with four in the church and two each transmitting sound to the marquee and village hall.
