This is entirely your choice, you can accept any of the quotes you receive. However we would advise that you don’t base your decision entirely on price. Try to make an informed, balanced decision based on the equipment the company will be supplying, customer service as well as price.

I don’t know anything about sound equipment, what do I need to ask for?

This isn’t a problem. Our quote form has been designed to help you with this. So long as you know the type of event you’re having (live music, DJ/disco, public announcement, conference) your quote will be passed to the most suitable companies who will recommend a system for you based on the details you’ve provided.
If a company have provided you with a list of equipment you don’t understand simply go back to them and ask them to explain it, most companies will be more than happy to do this.

A quote I’ve received mentions ‘dry hire’, what is this?

The term ‘dry hire’ means that the equipment will be provided without an engineer to operate it. If you have received a quote for dry hire ensure beforehand that you are either completely happy to operate the equipment yourself or that the company will be providing full instructions.

There’s a problem with the equipment I’ve hired, or the service I’ve received, what do I do?

This is a matter between you and the hire company as your contract will be with them, not us. All complaints should be sent directly to that company.
However if you have received bad service from a company we contacted on your behalf we would like to know about this.
