The agreement

By using our website you are agreeing to these terms and conditions so that we can deliver to you the audiovisual quotes you require where they are available from our providers. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our website. The service

We provide a fully independent and online audiovisual hire search engine, designed to save you time and money when it comes to hiring audiovisual equipment. We source suppliers but do not offer advice or make recommendations. We will ask some questions to help source quotations, you will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

After completing our quote form online via our website, you agree that you will receive quotes by either email or telephone from audiovisual suppliers.

Your responsibilities

Audiovisual suppliers will provide you with a quotation based on the information you have provided to us. It is essential that all information is true and accurate and that you also disclose all relevant facts. If you do not provide accurate information and disclose all relevant facts this could lead to inaccurate quotes being sent to you.

In order to accept a quotation provided by our suppliers you will need to contact the company directly by either email or telephone.

It is important that you read the audiovisual suppliers terms or conditions to check that you understand and agree with them. The audiovisual supplier’s terms or conditions are not the same as ours and they will be the terms which you will be agreeing to when accepting a quotation.

Complaints

We set ourselves very high standards and look to provide these high standards in everything we do, but we also know there may be occasions when you feel we have not achieved this. In these rare cases we want you to tell us as this is the only way we'll be able to improve our service. To do this please email us at contact@audiorent.co.uk, we will look to resolve the matter as quickly and as fairly as possible.

If your complaint relates to an audiovisual supplier, we will let you know that we have forwarded your complaint to the company and will supply you with their contact details. The supplier will then reply to your complaint directly.

Our liability

As a company our service starts and ends at passing your event details on to relevant audiovisual companies in locations relevant to your event. All issues regarding the supply of equipment, the quality of equipment and personnel, event planning, timings, deliveries, payments, refunds, insurance and public liability are the responsibility of yourself and the audiovisual supplier.

We are responsible to you for:-

any statements made by our literature, website or employees to you which are not true statements of fact

any statements made by our literature, website or employees to you which are misleading or untrue.

We are not responsible to you for:-

any losses you suffer because the information you put into our quote form is inaccurate or incomplete;

any losses you suffer if the information you put into our quote form is accurate but the audio visual suppliers contact system is not working adequately making it impossible for us to contact them;

any losses you suffer if you fail to disclose all relevant facts to the audiovisual supplier;

any losses you suffer because you cannot use our service at any time;

any losses you suffer through connecting to any linked third party websites or any statements, information, content, products or services that are published on, or may be accessible from, any linked third party website and we do not guarantee that they are free from viruses or anything else that could be infectious or destructive;

if our website is unavailable at any time or for any period;

any errors or omissions in our website;

any losses you may suffer by relying on any commentary or postings on our website;

any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it;

the privacy policies and practices of other linked third party websites, even if you access them using links from our website;

any unauthorised access or loss of personal information that is beyond our control;

Any equipment supplied to you through an audiovisual supplier, including the quality of the equipment, the electrical safety of the equipment, the equipment supplied being different to that which was quoted and any other issues regarding equipment and its supply;

Any losses you suffer through audiovisual suppliers not attending an event or being late to attend an event;

Any issues regarding to payment including deposits;

Any and all issues regarding public liability.

Accessing our website

Access to our website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our website without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

This website is intended for use of UK residents only and due to this, quote forms completed from non-UK residents will, unless otherwise stated, not be accepted. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of England and Wales.
